Job description

Hammond Upper and Middle School seek part-time talented, experienced tutors in all subject areas for students from 5th through 12th grades. An Academic Center for Excellence Tutor is responsible for supporting students by providing academic and/or organizational enrichment to help students excel. Tutoring sessions are meant to supplement classroom instruction, and tutors partner actively with classroom teachers to better support students. Tutoring sessions are often one-on-one and can also include small groups when desired.
