Is being a part time transaction coordinator worth it?

Part-time transaction coordinators assist with managing real estate transaction processes, often offering flexible schedules and the opportunity to gain industry experience. It can be a worthwhile option for those seeking part-time work in real estate support or looking to build relevant skills.

What is a part time transaction coordinator?

Part time transaction coordinators are professionals who assist real estate agents, brokers, or teams with managing the administrative tasks involved in real estate transactions, but on a part-time basis. Their responsibilities typically include coordinating paperwork, tracking deadlines, communicating with clients and third parties, and ensuring all documents are properly completed. By working part time, they offer flexibility to both the real estate team and themselves, handling transaction files for a set number of hours or transactions per week. This role helps real estate professionals stay organized and compliant while allowing for work-life balance or supplemental income for the coordinator.

Understanding these differences helps in choosing the right role based on your skills and career goals.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time transaction coordinator?

To thrive as a Part Time Transaction Coordinator, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of real estate transactions, often supported by experience in real estate or administrative roles. Familiarity with transaction management software, e-signature platforms, and CRM systems is typically required. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities help you effectively coordinate between agents, clients, and vendors. These skills ensure smooth, compliant transaction processes and high client satisfaction in a deadline-driven environment.

What are some common challenges faced by part time transaction coordinators, and how can they be managed effectively?

Part-time transaction coordinators often juggle multiple transactions simultaneously while working limited hours, which can make time management and organization particularly challenging. To manage this effectively, it’s important to establish clear communication protocols with agents, clients, and other stakeholders, and to use digital tools to track deadlines and required documentation. Proactively setting expectations about availability and response times also helps prevent miscommunication and ensures transactions stay on track. Many coordinators find creating detailed checklists and automating reminders essential for staying organized and meeting all compliance requirements.

Are part time transaction coordinators in demand?

Part time transaction coordinators are in moderate demand, especially in real estate markets with active property transactions. Their role involves managing paperwork, deadlines, and communication between parties, often requiring familiarity with transaction management software. Demand can vary based on regional market activity and the availability of qualified professionals.

Job description

Description
Full-Time Licensed Real Estate Sales Agent (Buyers + Sellers)
We are looking for full-time, fully licensed Real Estate Sales Agents who are driven, accountable, and ready to build a consistent, high-producing business. This is not a role for those "getting licensed" or exploring real estate part-time-we are seeking agents who are already licensed in Florida and committed to treating this as a full-time career.
Three Avenues Group at Real Broker is one of Tampa Bay's fastest-growing real estate teams because we've invested years into building the systems, support, and lead flow agents actually need to succeed. We provide real opportunities so you can focus on what matters most: serving clients, securing listings, and closing deals.
WHAT WE PROVIDE - YOU FOCUS ON PRODUCTION
No desk fees. No hidden fees. Zero out-of-pocket costs for everything listed below.
Consistent Lead Flow:
  • Leads distributed directly to our agents every month
  • Live inbound calls from Realtor.com, Homelight, Google, Zillow Showcase, listing signage, and more
  • Full CRM with AI-powered follow-up to ensure no opportunity is missed

Listing & Transaction Support:
  • In-house Listing Coordinator to manage listings from start to finish
  • In-house Transaction Coordinator to handle contracts through closing

Production & Marketing Support:
  • Professional listing photography and drone services
  • Signs, riders, and marketing materials
  • Zillow Showcase, 3D tours, and walkthrough videos
  • Social media and post-closing marketing

COMPENSATION
100% commission-based with high earning potential, backed by a steady flow of leads and full operational support.
Responsibilities
• Conduct both buyer and seller consultations, with a strong focus on converting and securing listings
• Follow up consistently with leads to convert opportunities into active clients
• Manage transactions from consultation to close with a high level of professionalism
• Stay informed on local market trends and position yourself as a trusted expert
Qualifications
Active Florida Real Estate License (required - fully licensed, not in process)
Full-time availability
• Located in Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, or Polk County
• Strong communication and follow-up skills - you understand speed wins deals
• Self-motivated and performance-driven
• Focused on building a sustainable, listing-based business-not just "getting started"
