Position Summary
US Traffic Control is seeking reliable, safety-minded individuals to join our team as Part-Time Traffic Flaggers. This position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible work opportunities through standby and rotating assignments on roadway, utility, construction, and maintenance projects.
Responsibilities
• Direct and control traffic through construction and work zones.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and fellow flaggers.
• Set up and maintain traffic control devices and signage as directed.
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic control procedures.
• Monitor traffic conditions and respond appropriately to changing situations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing US Traffic Control.
Qualifications
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.
• Strong attention to safety and situational awareness.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions.
• Previous flagging or construction experience is a plus, but not required.
Training & Certification
No certification? No problem. US Traffic Control provides ATSSA Flagger Certification training for qualified candidates. We will ensure you receive the training and certification needed to perform your duties safely and effectively.
