Tier 1 Operations Support Specialist
The Opportunity:

As a site reliability engineer on our team, you'll help the Intelligence Community develop more robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure. You'll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You'll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. This is your chance to further your skills in cloud technologies while continuing to grow your SRE experience.

You Have:
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role such as IT operations or help desk
  • Experience performing initial troubleshooting for system, application, or network issues
  • Experience using ticketing or incident management tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow
  • Experience with Linux or Windows system administration fundamentals
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and document actions clearly
  • Ability to work rotating round-the-clock shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience monitoring enterprise systems, dashboards, logs, or mission applications
  • Experience escalating incidents to higher-tier teams
  • Knowledge of on-call processes, after-hours support models, or operational recall procedures
  • Ability to work independently in a high-tempo environment
  • Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills, to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Security+ or Network+ Certification
  • Industry cloud foundational AWS Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Cloud+, or MS Azure Fundamentals Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
