Job description

JOB PURPOSE: The Service Support Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction by providing quick, efficient, and professional support services within food and beverage operations. This role supports bar, dining room, and service teams across multiple outlets and locations as assigned based on business needs
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Provides guest service support across food and beverage outlets, as assigned based on business needs

  • Assists with bar, dining room, and service area setup, opening, closing, and breakdown

  • Maintains clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout service periods

  • Stocks bar and service stations to established par levels, including glassware, beverages, and supplies

  • Maintains clean glassware, service ware, and equipment as needed

  • Supports bartenders and servers by responding promptly to operational and service needs

  • Greets guests courteously and supports overall guest service flow

  • Delivers food to correct tables in accordance with tickets, floor plans, and seat numbers

  • Verifies guest satisfaction during food delivery and communicates service needs to servers or management

  • Clears, cleans, and sanitizes tables and service areas before, during, and after service

  • Maintains awareness of menu offerings, service times, and general floor layouts

  • Ensures work areas remain free of hazards, standing water, debris, or obstructions

  • Demonstrates the ability to think clearly, remain focused, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

  • Performs assigned duties with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism

  • Duties, responsibilities, and work locations may change or be assigned at any time based on business needs.

  • Must be available to work varied schedules, shifts, and locations, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and different outlets as assigned

Qualifications
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a food runner, dining room attendant, barback, or similar food and beverage support role preferred

  • Other relevant hotel or food and beverage experience will be considered

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English with guests, management, and co-workers

  • Strong customer service, service recovery, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and organized in high-volume and high-pressure environments

  • Ability to work cohesively with team members across departments

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to guest and operational needs efficiently

  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including entire work shifts

  • Requires repetitive motion involving hands, arms, and legs

  • Work may be performed in indoor and outdoor environments

  • Serving trays, tray jacks

  • Flatware, glassware, service equipment

  • POS terminals
