Job description

Berkeley College is dedicated to excellence in teaching and to preparing students for successful careers. The College is seeking applicants to fill a part-time faculty position in the Fashion Department.

Courses include Photoshop and Digital Graphics, Product Development, Fashion Textiles for Apparel and Home, Merchandise Planning and Buying, and other upper level and lower level courses.

Salary Range:  $3,100.00 - $3,600.00 per course/semester

Preferred applicants will be able to present Fashion concepts in an innovative, engaging, and energetic manner, which encompasses group work and reality-based case examples.

Berkeley College has a diverse student population across its New York, New Jersey, and Online locations.

Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree with other appropriate credentials, to include Fashion industry experience, if applicable • Demonstrated success in teaching at an institution of higher education • A willingness to travel and teach at multiple campuses across NY and NJ and OL if applicable • An ability to teach classes during the day or evening • Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning • Experience using a Learning Management System such as Canvas.
