General Description
Perform receptionist and clerical responsibilities in the University Marketing & Communications Office.
Essential Job Duties
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service by welcoming and assisting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, and taking and delivering messages.
  • Pick up, deliver, sort and distribute mail.
  • Copy, scan and file documents.
  • Run campus errands as needed.
  • Assist with special events; including social media coverage.
  • Assist staff with paperwork, preparing reports, gathering information, monitoring office supply inventory, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with marketing content creation and idea generation as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
• Organization and attention to detail a must.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Experience using Mac OS.
