We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled Fabrication Operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for producing quality metal parts and assemblies performing multiple manual operations including, but not limited to, grinding, sanding, drilling, tapping, spot welding, forming, mass finishing operations, product inspection and final reporting.
Responsibilities:
  • Regular predictable attendance required.
  • Responsible for cleanliness and orderliness of workstation and surrounding area.
  • Responsible for quality of product produced and meeting production goals.
  • Suggest improvements to currently accepted process,
  • Ability to use precision measurement tools to ensure production meets specifications and quality standards and log results.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machines/equipment.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and resolve machine issues according to specifications.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements
  • Must be able to speak, write and read English-bilingual a plus
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with machine controls / touchscreens
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to get along and work effectively with others.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and specifications.
  • Good mechanical aptitude. Ability to use various hand and power tools to complete tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions
  • 2 years' experience in Metal Fabrication or adjacent field.
  • Must also possess the ability to take direction from peers and supervision to optimize productivity.

Working Condition:
  • Must be able to work overtime, including weekends as needed.
  • Must be physically capable of standing/bending/stooping/squeezing 8+ hour shift(s)
  • Must be able to lift, carry and/or move up to 30 pounds on a given day, up to 31 - 70 pounds with assistance.
  • Must have the ability to push, pull material and equipment as needed.
  • Must be able to wear the required safety equipment including respirators, welding face shield, gloves and jacket

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
