Job description

This position is located at Departmental Offices, Treasury Common Services Center, Office of the Deputy Admin for Technology Services Operations. As a Supervisory IT Program Manager, you will be serving as a technical expert on IT infrastructure (telecommunications, operating systems, servers, office automation platforms, peripherals, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products, databases, and applications).

Qualifications:You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Management of enterprise platform operations and managed services program activities, including operational oversight, service delivery, and change and configuration management, AND
- Acquisition management, including preparing requirements and statements of work, evaluation of proposals, financial planning, cost analysis, and vendor performance management; AND
- Experience demonstrating strong customer service skills, such as managing escalations, preparing executive briefings and communicating with all levels of stakeholders.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the nine competencies listed below.1. Attention to Detail, 2. Customer Service, 3. A structured interview may be used to determine if you meet the required proficiency levels.
TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
