The CNP Technologist  role is part of our multi-skilled Neurodiagnostic team, performing procedures including Electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials, Autonomic Testing, and/or Nerve Conduction Studies. Our technologists ensure exceptional patient preparation, accurate data acquisition, and a safe, high-quality testing environment. As part of Mayo Clinic's growing Neurology department, you will work with cutting-edge technology while contributing to meaningful patient care.

We are actively hiring Technologist I, II, and III levels, offering a clear and supported pathway for advancement as your skills and certifications grow.

We offer a three-tier technologist structure (Tech I, II, and III) designed to support your growth at every stage of your career. Whether you're just entering the field or bringing years of experience, you'll know exactly how to advance-and we'll provide the mentorship, education, and support to help you get there.

You will be hired to the level you qualify for based on your experience, competencies, and required certifications.


Qualifications
 

Tech I: High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited institution for neurodiagnostic technology or 2 years equivalent neurodiagnostic tech experience. Associate's degree preferred. Computer skills required. Must have demonstrated communication, problem solving, and organizational ability. Within two years of employment, specific certification through ABRET - Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM and CAP); Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM; CNCT) and/or AAET - The Nerve Conduction Association (R.NCS.T.) is required in the laboratory of hire. The Registry Examination should be attempted as soon as the employee is eligible. Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.

Tech II: High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of Neurodiagnostics experience. Associate's degree preferred.Computer skills required. Demonstrated leadership abilities including above average communication skills (verbal and written). Demonstrated ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs.Must be a current Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist to apply. Registries include specific certification through ABRET - Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM and CAP); American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM; CNCT) and/or AAET - The Nerve Conduction Association (R.NCS.T.).
