Automotive Technology- Medium/Heavy Truck and Diesel Technology Instructor (Continuous Adjunct Pool)
Position Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a POOL position. Application materials for this part-time position are accepted on an on-going basis. As openings for temporary, part-time automotive medium/heavy truck and diesel technology instructors become available, candidates may be selected from this pool of applicants.
Required Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, cultural background, disability, and sexual orientation of community college students, faculty, and staff
AND
Bachelor's degree(s) or higher and two years of professional experience, and/or associate degree(s) and six years of professional experience. The professional experience required must be directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment. Professional experience is required when the applicant possesses a master's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
ASE T1-T8 certification, H1-H8 certification or S1-S7 certification; and
ASE L2 certification; and
ASE F1 certification; and
Six years of service technician experience in the medium/heavy truck and diesel service and repair industry.
