Montessori Teacher Assistant – Part-time - Infant and Toddlers Classroom

The Town of Windsor is looking for a dynamic, energetic Montessori Teacher Assistant to fill a part-time position. The successful candidate will assist in the planning and implementation for a Primary Montessori Program for the infant and toddler classroom, guide children’s activities in a prepared Montessori environment, assist with supervising children, establish relationships with children and families based on dignity and respect, assist with housekeeping tasks, and attend staff meetings and other recommended training.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 12 credits in Early Childhood Education with 1 year experience; or Associates degree in education preferred
  • Must have good knowledge of principles and practices of early childhood education and development
  • Successful completion of the Town of Windsor’s pre-employment background and drug screen – includes testing for marijuana

Compensation and Schedule:

  • Rate of Pay: $17 hourly
  • Schedule: up to 29 hours per week – Mon thru Fri 12:00 pm to 5:45 pm
