Job Title: Body Piercer

Position Summary:
A Body Piercer is responsible for providing professional body piercing services in a safe, sanitary, and customer-focused environment. The piercer consults with clients, performs piercings according to industry standards, educates clients on aftercare, and maintains strict health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Perform body piercings using proper techniques and sterile equipment. Consult with clients to discuss piercing options, placement, jewelry selection, and aftercare procedures. Ensure all tools, equipment, and workstations meet sanitation and sterilization standards. Verify client identification and obtain required consent forms. Educate clients on healing processes, aftercare instructions, and potential risks. Maintain accurate client records and documentation. Assist clients with jewelry changes, troubleshooting, and follow-up care. Monitor inventory of jewelry, needles, and piercing supplies. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio environment. Stay current with industry trends, safety regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

Previous professional body piercing experience preferred. Knowledge of bloodborne pathogen standards and infection-control procedures. Current certifications in Bloodborne Pathogens and First Aid/CPR (preferred or required depending on local regulations). Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work professionally with clients of diverse backgrounds. Attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
