Job description

Description
NYU Tulsa is seeking a local, part-time instructor to teach "Sustainability for Competitive Advantage" in Spring 2027. The course is sponsored by the NYU Stern School of Business and contributes to the Sustainable Business concentration, which prepares students to embed sustainability into core business strategy and create long-term value across economic, social, and environmental dimensions. Students will include a mix of undergraduate business students and interdisciplinary majors. The course schedule will be determined in consultation with the final candidate.
The instructor will be responsible for preparing and delivering all classes, (based on the Sustainability forCompetitive Advantage syllabus, cases, and decks which will be provided), grading student work, and holding at least one office hour per week. Candidates with professional experience in sustainability, CSR, ESG consulting, or sustainable innovation are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applicants should demonstrate the ability to teach with an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Ideally, candidates will have two to three years of university-level teaching experience; experience working with undergraduate students is especially valued. In some cases, substantial industry experience may be considered in lieu of academic teaching experience.
