Qualifications:
NJ Elementary School Teacher in Grades K - 6 Required
Successful experience as an elementary teacher
Deep understanding of the NJ Student Learning ELA Standards, knowledgeable about research-based instructional strategies, and experienced differentiation instruction to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers and administration to meet the needs of students.
Demonstrated organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
Description: The District seeks a part-time teacher to provide targeted academic support to students in grades K 4 at Francis A. Desmares who are identified as performing below grade-level expectations in reading, mathematics, or other core subjects. The Interventionist works collaboratively with classroom teachers, specialists, and administrators to design and implement evidence-based interventions, monitor student progress, and adjust instruction to support student growth and achievement.
Salary Range: Part time salary based on FREA established salary guide - $33,280 to $47,767, in accordance with the established FREA Salary Guide. Placement on the guide will be determined based on the provisions outlined in Article 12, Section A.1 (Initial Employment) of the FREA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary will be prorated based on FTE and for partial-year assignments.
