Job description

Hospital Diversion Program of NFI Vermont is a short-term inpatient facility for adolescents experiencing acute psychiatric crisis. Our skilled trauma-informed team of mental health workers provide our residents with crisis stabilization, clinical consultation, and individual treatment planning in a small and safe setting. We are looking for dynamic relief mental health workers to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level position, 20 hours per week.

Starting Pay: $20.50 - $23.00 per hour

Sunday 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Monday 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Wednesday Staff meeting 2:00 p.m-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to support youth in crisis
• Provide supervision and support to adolescents during both awake and sleeping hours
• Facilitate a comfortable community alternative for inpatient youth

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth and/or adolescents
Or
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field
