Human Resources Operations Assistant (Temporary, Summer 2026)

Zennith People Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Human Resources team as a part-time, temporary summer employee. This role provides valuable hands-on exposure to HR operations, onboarding processes, employee records management, and administrative support within a professional and fast-paced work environment.
This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in gaining practical experience in Human Resources, employee relations, and multi-location workforce operations.
Compensation & Schedule
- $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Part-time, approximately 20–25 hours per week based on business needs and availability
- Mileage reimbursement provided for approved travel between assigned job sites
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding preparation, including organizing and reviewing new hire documentation
- Support the maintenance of employee records and HR files in both physical and digital formats
- Scan, digitize, and upload documents into HR information systems
- Assist with data entry, spreadsheet tracking, and HR-related administrative tasks
- Help coordinate orientation materials and onboarding logistics for new employees
- Support HR team members with internal communications, documentation, and special projects
- Travel to various job sites throughout the Orange County area to assist with onboarding, employee documentation, and HR support activities
- Observe and learn HR operational processes, compliance practices, and employee lifecycle procedures
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn in a professional office environment
- Ability to travel to multiple job sites within the Orange County area
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus
- Prior administrative or office experience preferred
- Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, construction, or multi-location operations is a plus
Work Environment
This role will involve a combination of office work and travel to various business locations within the Garden Grove/OC area. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, adaptable, and comfortable supporting operational and administrative tasks in a dynamic environment.
The position is expected to run from July through August 2026 on a part-time schedule. This is a strictly temporary, part-time position running from July through August 2026. Employment will conclude at the end of the defined period. No extension or permanent placement is implied or guaranteed.
