P/T Student Theater TechnicianJOB STATUS: OPEN POSTING DATE: 07/31/2026 CLOSING DATE: 08/13/2026 04:00 PM POSTING NUMBER: 054755 LOCATION: The Woodlands College Park - 014 POSITION TITLE: P/T Student Theater Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a part-time position that requires employee to work with the Theater supervisor for the school in question.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Operate and manage sound, intercom, and light systems in the school.
  2. Operate and manage the counterweight systems used in the schools.
  3. Work as liaison with theater supervisor and groups that are rent the facilities.
  4. Keep systems clean and secured.
  5. Follow all safety guidelines for CISD.
  6. Maintain confidentiality.
  7. Regular attendance.
  8. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE: QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
  • Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions in English

Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
  • Working knowledge of light and sound systems and other technological equipment used in the schools
  • Must be able to work with desktop computers
