PRIMARY PURPOSE:
PAC Student Technicians will assist the PAC Manager will all technical aspects relating to productions within the assigned performing arts center.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
  • Must be a Beaumont ISD student

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
PAC Student Technicians will assist the PAC Manager will all technical aspects relating to productions within the assigned performing arts center. These duties may include, but are not limited to:
  1. Setup of all equipment, set pieces, and other PAC materials necessary for the production
  2. Assisting performers with all PAC equipment
  3. Running the sound board, light board, and other PAC technical equipment
  4. Striking all equipment, set pieces, and other PAC materials after each production

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Maintain emotional control under stress
  • Work with frequent interruptions

Physical Demands
  • Light lifting and carrying, reaching above shoulder, use of fingers, repetitive hand motions; frequent bending and stooping
  • Prolonged use of computer
