A part-time strategy job involves working reduced hours while contributing to an organization's long-term planning and decision-making processes. People in these roles typically analyze market trends, assess business opportunities, and help develop plans to achieve company goals. These positions are ideal for professionals who want to use their analytical and strategic thinking skills but require a flexible schedule. Common industries offering part-time strategy roles include consulting, finance, technology, and non-profits.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part-time strategy professional?

To thrive as a Part-Time Strategy professional, you generally need strong analytical abilities, business acumen, and a background in business, economics, or a related field. Familiarity with tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and strategic planning frameworks such as SWOT analysis or Porter’s Five Forces is typical, and experience with project management software can be beneficial. • Develop lifecycle marketing calendars and optimization roadmaps aligned to key KPIs
  • Partner with creative and activation teams to pilot and test enhanced PRM initiatives
  • Oversee QA, deployment coordination, and performance reporting
  • Explore and integrate emerging technologies, including AI applications, into lifecycle strategies

  • Experience auditing and optimizing CRM/email programs
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into strategic recommendations
