Location: Austin, TX

Facility: Lonestar Soccer Club

Department/Specialty: Sports Medicine Network

Schedule: Part time | 20 hours per week | Monday - Thursday

Salary: $21.63 - $30.15 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Provide medical care and support to athletes during athletic practices and games, ensuring safety and quick intervention in emergencies.
  • Triage patients and administer first aid using specified supplies and equipment, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with students, athletic coaches, parents, and families, keeping them informed about the care and progress of student-athletes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of medical assessments, treatments, and any injuries sustained during practices or games.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals, athletic trainers, and team staff when necessary, ensuring continuity of care for student-athletes.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Emergency Medical Tech specializing in Paramedic credentialed from the Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems.
    • Paramedic credentialed from the Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems.
  • Drivers License preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Experience working with children or student-athletes, ideally in an athletic or sports setting.
  • Familiarity with emergency protocols for sports-related injuries and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Advanced certifications in emergency care (e.g., ACLS, PALS) or sports medicine-related training are a plus.
