Job description

We’re seeking an Medical Assistant to join our dynamic clinical team. As a member of our team, you will work with a dedicated staff of medical professionals, administrators and support staff to change people’s lives every day. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, support physicians and nurses, manage basic clinical procedures, and ensure a smooth patient flow and patient experience. This is a three day per week position: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Responsibilities

- Record and document vital signs; assist with triage

- Administer injections, medications, and basic treatments within scope of practice.

- Assist with procedures and procedure room setup using Aseptic and Sterile techniques.

- Collect urine and blood specimens and ensure proper labeling

- Prepare and maintain patient charts with accurate documentation

- Assist healthcare providers with examinations and patient education

- Other duties as assigned within licensure/scope

Qualifications

**Medical Assistant:**

- MA certification or equivalent training (CMA, RMA, NCMA, etc.) preferred

- Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience a plus

- CPR/BLS certification

- Excellent communication and organizational skills
