Job description

The Law Offices of Deborah L. Pico, LLC, a distinguished legal practice located in Fort Lee, New Jersey, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our professional team on a part-time basis. This position requires a dedicated professional who demonstrates an exceptional work ethic and can independently manage real estate closings from start to finish. Our firm provides an excellent environment for continued professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle real estate closings from initiation through completion
  • Prepare closing documents and coordinate with all parties
  • Review title reports and resolve title issues
  • Communicate with lenders, brokers, and clients
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain client confidentiality

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of New Jersey real estate paralegal experience is required
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in real estate software and document preparation
  • Detail-oriented with ability to work under deadlines
  • New York real estate experience is a plus
