Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling systems to ensure they meet our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic principles, excellent soldering skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions and schematics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble electronic components and devices according to wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
* Perform soldering of components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) with high accuracy and quality.
* Routes and ties wires to form wire harness used in electrical and electronic equipment or systems: Reads instructions, such as work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly.
* Selects wires of specified color, marking, or length, and loops wires between guide pegs on harness board, following color-coded lines or sequential numbers on board or diagram.
* Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
* Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
Job Requirements:
* Must have excellent soldering skills.
* Must have prior experience with Printed Circuit Board, wiring and cable assembly.
* Must have prior experience with soldering wiring harness thru-hole and Surface Mount Technology components.
* Rework Printed Circuit Boards - remove and replace through hole and surface mount electronic components.
* Must be able to read electronic schematics, mechanical drawings and written instructions.
* Must be able to speak and read English.
