Job description

OVERVIEW
The Cache County Assessor's Office invites candidates to apply for an Assessment Data Entry Specialist position. The Assessment Data Entry Specialist position supports accurate, well-documented property records for assessment and public service. This entry-level, onsite role (179 N Main St, Logan, UT) is part-time and pays $20.63/hour.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include entering and validating sales and permit-related information; updating property records and sketches using spreadsheets and assessment-related software; supporting record audits, cleanup projects, and report preparation; assisting with field data collection and documentation for appraiser review; and providing professional, confidential assistance to the public in accordance with policy and applicable laws.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma/equivalent
  • Data entry/records experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and databases; familiarity with CAMA/GIS/permitting/sketch tools preferred
  • Ability to follow written procedures, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally
