Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Technical Data Packages for ship combat systems, including:
    • System drawings
    • Interface control documents
    • Engineering change documentation
    • Equipment specifications
    • Bills of materials (BOMs)
    • Installation drawings
    • Maintenance procedures
  • Manage configuration control and ensure technical documentation aligns with:
    • Ship configuration baselines
    • Combat system upgrades
    • Fleet modernization efforts
  • Review engineering change proposals (ECPs) and incorporate approved changes into technical data packages.
  • Coordinate with:
    • Systems engineers
    • Naval architects
    • Combat systems engineers
    • Logistics teams
    • Program managers
    • Government customers
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • Department of Defense (DoD) standards
    • Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) requirements
    • Military specifications (MIL-STDs)
    • Configuration management processes
  • Support ship availability periods, modernization programs, and system installations by providing accurate technical documentation.
  • Perform technical data audits and verify documentation accuracy.
  • Use Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and configuration management tools to track engineering changes.

  • Bachelor's degree in:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $175,000. This range represents a good-faith estimate of the base salary that Thunderbolt Solutions reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting.

Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant experience, education, certifications, specific technical skills, internal equity, and current market conditions.
This position may also be eligible for a company bonus and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off (PTO), and a 401(k) retirement plan.
