Clinical Therapist Job Description

We are looking for therapists who possess our core values: flexibility, warmth, love of having fun, lifetime learner/hard worker, loyalty, professional and team-oriented. We are all going to work together so let's make sure we align on our values.

We want to add licensed clinicians who specialize in working with children, including ages 5-17. 
This position is available part time: We are looking for clinicians to work evenings and/or weekends (Florida Residents Only-local to the greater Tarpon Springs area). This is an in-office position with the potential for some telehealth sessions. 

Please only apply if you have experience/desire to work in the area listed. 1099 50/50 starting split fee position.

Minimal Qualification Requirements

  • Masters’ degree or higher in counseling or social work
  • Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) in the State of Florida (must be in possession of this license in order to be hired). A copy must be provided to Breaking Free Services.
  • 1099 contractors must pay for their own malpractice insurance (purchased separately), and monthly access fees to our EHR and phone systems ($60/month). Contractors must also maintain an active Psychology Today account. 

Other Qualification Preferences (it just helps but not a must)

  • Prior experience in the private practice setting
  • Willingness to learn & grow one’s breadth of practice
  • Desire to be active in the community & make connections to build the practice
  • Ready to not only LOVE what you do but LOVE where you get to do it at!
  • Excited to be a part of our vision and desire to make a difference with a growing group practice. 

  • What we do for you:
  • Daily support to staff or collaborate on cases with our Clinical Director (yes, its still a great option to have someone to bounce things off of)
  • We get you credentialed with our insurance companies.
  • We pay you AHEAD of time. That's right....unlike other group practices, you get paid every two weeks on your billable hours while WE work on collecting the money
  • We give you clients to begin to build up your caseload. Once they are on your schedule, you work with your clients to see them based on your schedule and have autonomy with doing so.

Pay:
Contract split 50/50 (clinician/practice) starting. YOU make your own schedule based on office availability.
