Registered Nurse, RN $2000 Sign on Bonus

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Nemasket Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Middleborough, Massachusetts. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents in a subacute unit setting. This is a PART_TIME opportunity that requires a strong sense of accountability, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician's orders

  • Transcribe, document, and implement physician's orders

  • Collect data to assist in nursing assessments during each shift

  • Give daily shift report to CNAs and review written daily assignments for each resident

  • Collaborate with Care Plan Coordinator to develop and maintain nursing care plans

  • Attend and participate in interdisciplinary resident care conferences as requested

  • Assist attending physicians with rounds and special procedures as needed

  • Participate in staff development and training for new nursing personnel

  • Collaborate with nursing supervisor in documenting disciplinary concerns for nursing assistants

  • Notify nursing supervisor, resident's physician, and family of changes in the resident's condition or accidents/incidents

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Massachusetts

  • Minimum of one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred

  • CPR certified

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions

  • Ability to work hours as scheduled and maintain a safe and healthy work environment

  • Physical demands include frequent bending, stooping, turning, stretching, and reaching above the shoulders

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

  • Must have the ability to see and hear or use prosthetics/equipment that will enable these senses to function adequately
