Part-Time Shuttle Driver (Free Housing Provided)
Pointe Grand Cassville at Cartersville Apartments is seeking a dependable, friendly, and safety-focused Part-Time Shuttle Driver to provide scheduled transportation for our residents to and from local preferred employer partners. This position includes a free on-site apartment as part of the compensation package and plays an important role in enhancing the resident experience by providing reliable transportation that helps residents get to work!
The Shuttle Driver will operate a company-owned passenger shuttle on established morning and evening routes, maintain a professional appearance, and deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring passenger safety.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport residents to and from designated preferred employer locations according to an established schedule.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Keep the shuttle clean, fueled, and in excellent operating condition.
  • Practice safe driving habits and comply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming environment for residents.
  • Assist passengers as needed when entering and exiting the vehicle.
  • Maintain accurate ridership logs and route records.
  • Communicate any delays, incidents, or scheduling concerns to the Property Manager.
  • Follow all company safety policies and emergency procedures.
  • Represent Pointe Grand professionally while interacting with residents, employer partners, and the public.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid Georgia driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous shuttle, bus, passenger transportation, or commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate a passenger shuttle or van.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Ability to pass background screening and motor vehicle record check.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Schedule:
  • This is a part-time position
  • Monday through Friday
  • Morning and evening routes (split shift)
  • Hours will vary based on route schedule and will grow as program expands

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
  • Ability to assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
