Job Description:

TheCoachOperatoris responsible forfollowing safety protocol, schedules, pre-determined routes to transport corporate employees between various stops

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional attendance and punctuality
  • Accurately complete vehicle safety checks and escalate any issues
  • Compliance with all traffic laws, and federal and state transit regulations
  • Interact with customers and our central dispatch team and managers in a professional manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to all riders, i.e., answer questions about schedules, routes, transfer points, and delays
  • Promptly report vehicle maintenance, road and route concerns, accidents, and other traffic disruptions using two-way radios or hands-free devices
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may apply

Skills Required and Physical Demands:

  • Use route navigation apps, and other technology, including knowledge of area to pick up and drop off our customers
  • Maintain electronic logs to track routes and incidents
  • Ability to safely operate and drive without a break for a minimum period of one hour and forty-five minutes
  • Abilityto drive in fluctuating weather and terrain
  • Flexible scheduled to work outside of regular days and shifts
  • Comfortable working a split shift schedule
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds or more to assist with loading and unloading ADApassengers
  • Additional skills and physical demands may apply

Education and Qualifications:

Hard Requirements:

  • Clean driving record
  • Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Class A or B required
  • Passenger endorsement
  • Airbrake endorsement
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 1 year of driving experience
