What role you will play on the team:

This part-time position will work 20-25 hours per week/morning shift. Hours are flexible, but the coverage need is between 7am-3pm.

The role will cover all aspects of shipping & receiving, including ensuring the timely receipt of inbound freight, the timely delivery of outbound freight, and scheduling incoming goods and materials. Activities include data entry of shipping/receiving and other administrative information, preparation and distribution of related reports, and file/record maintenance. Success involves being well-organized and understanding the order fulfillment cycle.

The role works closely with manufacturing, distribution, customer service, supply chain, and third-party logistics groups to ensure the achievement of shipping, receiving and inventory goals.


What you will do:

· Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and storage methods and principles, and the ability to organize warehouses based on this information.

· First point of contact for all visitors, contractors, and freight drivers, controlling access to the site and notifying Oxerra staff of visitors.

· Partner with supply chain and customer service teams to coordinate shipping activities, booking, and coordinating carrier/customer pickups.

· Verify incoming and outgoing shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments - in compliance with shipping procedures.

· Prepare bills of lading, both domestic and international as well as other shipping and receiving documents.

· Accurately perform transactions within ERP system.

· Record shortages and report order discrepancies to the supervisor.

· Compile records of unfilled orders and work with Customer Service to resolve them.

· Preparation of export documentation and ensuring documents such as invoices, bills of lading and other shipping documents comply with federal, state, local and foreign regulations.

· Receipt of other goods and materials (Office/Maintenance/Operational Supplies)

· Assist workers in warehouse activities (staging orders, stocking material)

· Provide vacation/absence coverage for the Warehouse Supervisor

Required Education and Experience

· High school diploma/GED required. Verified through a background check.

· 2+ years warehouse experience

· Forklift certification preferred

· Must possess an understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work.

· Strong problem solving, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.

· Strong customer service skills

· Strong oral/written communication skills

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.


Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift to 50 pounds

· Frequent pushing, and pulling

· Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting

· Stand and walk for extended periods of time

· Work at heights, climb stairs and ladders

· Wear all required personal protective equipment

· Work in an area with non-hazardous and hazardous materials

· Work in areas that are dusty.
