Job description

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Part-Time Shipping & Receiving Clerk opportunity at NDX Group Practice Solutions in Sarasota, FL

The regular hours for this position are from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. 

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Unpacking and sanitizing new work as needed following instruction which includes wearing protective gear
  • Sorts and attaches doctor prescriptions
  • Enter prescription information via Data Entry to schedule cases
  • Responsible for billing and invoicing all finished cases and will sort and attach
  • Responsible for properly packing all completed cases
  • Responsible for verifying and properly consolidating all cases to prepare for shipping
  • Responsible for utilizing UPS and FedEx software and properly maintaining database integrity and account naming procedures
  • Disburse cases for local drivers
  • Maintain proper level of assembled shipping boxes
  • All other jobs as assigned

 Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Computer skills
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Multi task

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Required: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

  • Disinfectant process chemicals
  • Personal protective equipment as required
  • Office equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
