Hermione Elma Atelier is seeking an experienced Seamstress / Sewing Assistant to join our couture atelier in Delray Beach.


We specialize in custom bridal gowns, evening gowns, and couture garments. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about garment construction.


This position is ideal for someone who already has sewing experience and can work independently while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship.


Responsibilities

  • Construct garments from start to finish.
  • Sew and assemble garment pieces accurately.
  • Follow patterns and construction instructions.
  • Press garments and maintain clean finishes.
  • Perform alterations when needed.
  • Assist with couture and bridal production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.


Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of professional sewing experience.
  • Experience using industrial sewing machines.
  • Ability to independently construct garments.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • Experience with bridal, eveningwear, or couture is a plus.
