Job description

Academie Lafayette is seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Part-Time Food Service Cashier to join our team at our Oak Campus. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a vibrant school community!


Schedule

This is a part-time position with two daily shifts:

  • 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
  • 10:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.


Compensation

$20.00 per hour


Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately ring up student and staff lunches in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with meal service setup and cleanup before and after each service period
  • Ensure that all unused trays are properly accounted for and returned at the conclusion of each service period
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming food service environment
  • Provide friendly, positive interactions with students and staff throughout the service period
  • Follow all food service policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines


Qualifications

  • Prior cashier or food service experience preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, professional, and dependable
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks including lifting trays and supplies
  • Must pass a background check and Missouri Family Care Safety Registry screening prior to beginning work
