Job description

Summary

Rice Memorial hospital has an incredible opportunity for a skilled acute care nurse to join their Intensive Care Unit!

Schedule 

  • 60 hours per two weeks
  • Rotating shifts - Both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
  • Includes every third weekend and rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits 

  • Pay based on experience and degree
    • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $43.24 per hour
    • Bachelor's degree in nursing starting at $43.61 per hour
    • Master's degree in nursing starting at $45.79 per hour
  • Full pay range: $43.24 - $65.47 per hour
  • $3,500 Hiring bonus!
  • $5,000 Relocation bonus (if applicable)!

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota.
  • Working knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, public, and other providers.
  • A knowledge of growth and development; specifically, an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological maturation process.
  • An understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients of all ages in relation to the growth and development processes to include neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Willmar, Minnesota and relocate to within 30 miles any time before and no later than 120 days after you start work. May not have worked for CentraCare in the past nine months.
