Job description

Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse provides medical oversight for clients in their homes- including but not limited to assessments, obtaining MD orders, monthly contacts and maintaining an appropriate Plan of Care. Responsible for coordination, and supervision of the agency’s paraprofessional staff. Conducts reassessment of each patient on a regular basis; maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation; supervises and serves as a resource to all home care staff.

Qualifications

  • NYS licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Candidates with previous Home Care experience are preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of the scope of practice of professional and paraprofessional healthcare.
  • Knowledge of the state’s Registered Nurse Practice Act, any applicable licensure/certification requirement and agency policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range

Fee for Service: $50-150 depending on type of visit

Full-time: $90,000-$110,000; prorated for part-time
