As a Security Officer Armed Patrols Security Clearance in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a people-first culture.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $30.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:45 PM - 11:15 PMSun02:45 PM - 11:15 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout office buildings, technology work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns in accordance with post orders.
  • Support incident response and operational continuity by maintaining a visible presence, completing required reports, and following all applicable standards for armed post assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
