What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain appropriate entry procedures for restricted areas.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
