6-8 Grade Science Teacher (Full-Time, Part-Time, or Adjunct)
Position Overview:
Boise City Public School District is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join our middle school faculty, teaching students in grades 6 through 8. This position is flexible and may be structured as full-time, part-time, or adjunct based on the candidate's availability and the district's needs.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for science education and a commitment to fostering a stimulating and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will inspire students to explore scientific principles, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate a love for learning.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with state and national science standards for grades 6-8.
  • Teach a range of science topics, including earth science, life science, physical science, and environmental science.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and active learning.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Conduct hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and lab activities to enhance student understanding and engagement.
