Part-Time School Nurse
Bishop Fenwick High School is seeking a part-time School Nurse to support student health and safety during the school day. This position is approximately 20 hours per week during the school year, with hours generally 10 A.M.-2 P.M. weekdays, August-May, following the school calendar. Paid school holidays are included, with summers and weekends off.
Responsibilities include responding to illnesses and injuries, administering medications and treatments as appropriate, administering student drug testing (hair), maintaining health records, communicating with families and staff, and supporting required school health and safety protocols and related compliance. The position also provides back-up support to the front office for visitors and incoming phone calls, as needed.
Qualifications
      • Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
      • Possess a BSN (preferred, not required)
      • Demonstrate experience working with adolescents, in a school setting, or in pediatric/clinical nursing (preferred)
      • Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
      • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment
      • Support the mission and values of Bishop Fenwick High School
      • Pass all required background screenings and meet The Archdiocese of Cincinnati SafeParish requirements

Compensation: $30/hour. No health benefits are available for this position.
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, 10 A.M.-2 P.M. weekdays; August-May, following the school calendar; summers and weekends off.
Status: Part-time, non-exempt
