Position Summary
Are you looking for a rewarding part-time role working with kids? Join our team as an Assistant Teacher and help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for school-age children before and after school and during other school closures. This role offers a great opportunity to build experience working with youth while developing general leadership skills.
Pay & Schedule
  • Starting Pay: $15.00/hour
  • Consistent weekday schedule
  • School Year - Monday-Friday, 6:30-9:00 AM and 3-5:45 PM
  • Summer - Hours will vary based on program needs
  • Potential for additional hours during school breaks

What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you should:
• Be at least 16 years old
• Have a high school diploma/GED (or be working toward one)
• Have 1 year of childcare experience (preferred), not required - we're happy to train the right person!
• Have reliable transportation and a strong commitment to being on time
• Feel confident interacting with children and communicating with parents
• Be willing to complete required training once hired (CPR/First Aid, Mandatory Reporter, etc.)
• Be able to stay active throughout your shift, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
