Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Job Summary
The Part-Time School Nurse at Ste. Genevieve Du Bois Catholic School in Warson Woods is responsible for supporting the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of students in a faith-centered environment. The nurse promotes student health and safety, provides basic medical care, and helps ensure a healthy school community aligned with Catholic values.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to students, including first aid, illness assessment, and emergency response
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
  • Monitor student immunization compliance and health requirements
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student health needs throughout the school day
  • Develop and implement health care plans for students with chronic conditions
  • Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and Archdiocesan health guidelines
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized health office

Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Missouri
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
