Their primary responsibility is to cut wood or other materials to specified sizes and shapes, following safety protocols and production guidelines. Part time sawyers may work with various types of saws, such as band saws, circular saws, or chainsaws, depending on the job requirements. This role is ideal for those seeking flexible work hours while gaining experience in woodworking or lumber processing.
