Position Overview

Serve patients in moments that matter and be a part of the future of health care. SCP Health is seeking a dedicated Physician to join our dynamic team at CHRISTUS Hospital - Orange - EM.   • Patient Volume: 15K Annual ED Volume
  • Coverage Model: Physician 7a-7p, 7p-7a; NPPA 11a-7p
  • Number of Beds: 8 bed Freestanding ED
  • EMR: EPIC with Abridge AI Note


Qualifications

  • Education: EM, FM or IM Residency Trained
  • Licensure: Must have or be able to obtain Texas medical license
  • Board Certification: Must be board eligible/board certified
  • Experience: EM Residents welcome; FM/IM trained physicians must have EM experience
  • Badges: ACLS, ATLS and PALS

  • About CHRISTUS Hospital - Orange - EM: This 24/7 emergency care center is part of the newer CHRISTUS healthcare presence in Orange that restored local emergency services and broader medical access after a hospital closure left a gap in care for several years. The facility offers round-the-clock emergency treatment with on-site lab and imaging support, and it’s connected to the broader CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System, which helps ensure seamless access to advanced care and specialist referrals when needed — an important asset for both residents and physicians practicing in the region.
