  • The Anesthesiology department is diverse, consisting of 14 physicians, over 30 independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 Residents (8-10 daily on site) providing services for up to 19 anesthetizing locations daily to include acute care ORs, cardiac ORs, obstetrics, GI/endo, cath lab, interventional radiology, and a hospital ambulatory surgery center,.

  • The annual anesthesia case volume is approx. 14,300 cases, consisting of ~ 9,000 surgical cases, 800 cardiac cases, and 2,000 out-of-OR cases in GI, EP lab/Cath Lab, and interventional radiology.
  • OB services with 3,000 births annually
    • Multi-provider anesthesia team with an average of 250-300 births per month, averaging 4 epidurals and 3 c-sections per day
    • 2 Obstetric operating rooms and 8 labor rooms in a recently renovated pavilion
  • Participation in call is expected (24 hours in-house, 24 hours OB, second call from home)
  • CRNAs practice to their full scope of practice and perform regional anesthesia, arterial lines, and central lines 
  • 8- or 12-hour shifts and call shifts available, with scheduling flexibility to match your lifestyle. 
  • Post-call day off after first call 
  • Collaborative MD/CRNA model 
  •  This is a unique practice where CRNAs and MDs work independently in an academic environment with an anesthesiology residency program.
