Job description

We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated home care team. Our private-duty agency provides personal care (non-medical) services to the elderly in Morris and Essex counties. The field nurse will perform in-home client assessments, create individualized care plans, and orient and monitor aides providing services to our clients.  Benefits:·       Flexible, part-time schedule·       Competitive pay·       Mileage reimbursement·       Paid time off·       Referral bonuses Job duties:
  1. Assess new clients, develop plans of care, and orient Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides to cases.
  2. Conduct client reassessments every 60 days, or more frequently if the client’s condition warrants.
  3. Assess Aide competency and observe their performance every 3 months.
  4. Maintain documentation per New Jersey Board of Nursing/NJ Division of Consumer Affairs regulations and ACHC accreditation standards.
  5. Be available for off-hour phone consults (very rare).
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in good standing in NJ.
  • Valid NJ driver’s license and reliable vehicle to get to clients’ homes.
  • Minimum two years RN experience, including one year of home health care experience preferred.
  • Excellent clinical, assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ease with computers.
  • Some schedule flexibility.
