Job Description

Exciting opportunity to join Endeavor Health School of Anesthesia! The function of this position includes, but is not limited to: didactic instruction of nurse anesthesia students in applied sciences & evidence-based anesthesia principles, specialty anesthesia topics; committee chair & member for Doctoral scholarly leadership projects (5-8 students through program of study) providing expert evidence-based, clinical anesthetic, research & publication support and guidance; design, direct, & participate in clinical anesthetic simulations in basic, intermediate and crisis management for a variety of patient types, surgical procedures & anesthetics; clinical instruction, oversite as well as patient care at School's international outreach clinical sites; advisor for 10 students throughout their program of study; active participation on School committees: curriculum, admission, policy development & review, and grievance, as well as DePaul School of Nursing doctoral committee.

Qualifications
  • License: Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure (APN) in the state of Illinois
  • Education: Graduate of approved School of Nurse Anesthesia.
  • Certified or Board eligible for certification as CRNA.
  • Maintains re-certification every two years.
  • Certification: BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • PALS certification recommended.
