Position Overview and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental requirements and state-specific standards. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and the care team to deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing models such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ Additionally, you will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and favorable clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the patient’s condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
- Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient’s therapeutic response, and take appropriate actions in case of any adverse reactions.
- Deliver outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests, proactively anticipating their needs, and addressing them effectively.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring they fully understand by simplifying complex medical terminology.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within one year of starting employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
