We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse is to perform nursing duties, medication administration oversight, and psychoeducation at the Center for Recovery and Wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Follow protocols and policies for medication management duties in the residential addiction treatment facility and support outpatient facility as needed.
  • Maintain standards of accurate and complete recording and reporting of client files.
  • Assess the medical status of new and existing clients, and refer for outside medical care when appropriate.
  • Monitor physical health needs for patients receiving ancillary withdrawal services.
  • Follow physician orders in a timely manner and maintain high standards of client care.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurser (RN) with a valid NYS license required
  • 3-5 years of experience in a nursing role required
  • Experience working with substance abuse and dual diagnosis populations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player who is able to multi-task and handle challenging situations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
  • Competency with computer-based programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook email, Relias, and electronic health records.
