Job description

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join the team. This is a part-time night shift position (2 x 12-hour shifts/week) 7:00pm-7:00am. 
The Intensive Care Unit at Fair Oaks Hospital (IFOH) is a 12-bed unit with a patient population that includes, but not limited to, end-stage disease processes, sepsis, post-partum emergencies, respiratory failure, post-operative care and others that require more intensive nursing care. This patient population requires care from nurses that have successfully completed the critical care fellowship and/or have experience caring for the critically ill patient population. The ICU is equipped to provide CRRT and induced hypothermia for post-cardiac arrest.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of one year of ICU Registered Nurse experience. 
  • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.  If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
  • Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN
  • Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required from American Heart Association. ACLS preferred or within 90 days. 
     

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years ICU RN experience.
